Anne Came to see us and spent a fun-filled week we us! We checked out farmers markets..cooked amazing dinners..she planted gorgeous plants in the porches and helped with the last of the unpacking..While she was here we had a blast! We even took her to see Shrek! That was a first for her! The boys (and us) absolutely love her and we cherish every time we get to see her! On her last weekend here we took her on "vacation" to a town an hour away {Frankenmuth} or as they call is "Michigan's little Bavaria" The town was absolutely adorable..and true to its name the architecture and food was like being in Germany! We strolled the streets..danced the polka..walked the quaint town, mined for gems, ate amazing crepes, the boys made their "first" wish at the wishing stream and let's not forget ate at a "world famous" chicken restaurant..It truly was a great and fun experience the boys loved it! Andrew was in heaven at the Kandy Haus..he picked a covered Oreo..Yum! Adan prefered no candy instead a toy later!
They had this cool area where the boys could Mine and find stones..They loved it!
The next day we stopped in Fenton (on our way to detroit to take Anne to the airport) and they have this amazing orchard we picked strawberries and a few cherries. Next month blueberries will be ready and in the fall apples and pears..the boys already have been asking to go back :)!
