Randi and her mom Debbie came to Michigan to start out our summer vacation and visit. While here the boys ended up going to TX to grandma camp so the girls and I decided a girls trip was in order :). We headed up to the beautiful Island (Mackinac island-I put a map below so you know where it is) we had such a wonderful time riding bikes, enjoying beautiful views, and touring the beautiful Island. If you don't know much about the island it is known for the Grand Hotel which was in the movie "Somewhere in Time" there are no cars allowed so you arrive by ferry once on the island you have to bike, walk or take a horse carriage everywhere. It is a beautiful town with lots of shops (specially fudge shops) historic hotels and amazing restaurants. We had such a great trip and I can't wait to go back again!
